What We Do
Our Mission
Lens of Hope is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization designed to provide children with health challenges the opportunity to experience the world of photography. Children fighting cancer will have the opportunity to join a free five week photography class where they will learn from a professional how to creatively express themselves through the art of photography. By the end of the course, kids will have learned the basics of photography, how to shoot various forms of photography (landscape, portrait, wildlife, macro, and abstract), and finally how to tell a story through the means of photography. All costs of the program, instruction, and use of cameras will be made available through the fundraising efforts of Lens of Hope. Each student will receive their very own digital camera to use throughout the course and keep once the course concludes.
